President’s Cup

Playoff Match Rule and Schedule Information

 

The playoffs will start next Saturday, April 24, at approximately 8:00 a.m. (You must check in, no later 7:00 a.m. in the out of bounds lounge)!!!!

 

If you cannot play next Saturday and only if both parties agree, you may arrange to play your opponent, on any day any time, as long as your playoff match is completed on or before Sunday 4/25, 5/2 respectively. Remember your opponent must agree to change the scheduled time. If not, you will forfeit the match. You must notify Joe West if you are going to play an alternate day and notify him of the results after you play.

 

If you neglect the 7:00 a.m. check in time on Saturday or you failed to arrange an alternate time and/or failed to notify Joe West of your alternate time, you or both of you will forfeit the match. No discussion or argument this is your notice. We are having the course set aside tee times for your matches on Saturday. You must reserve your own for alternate tee times. On Saturday, Joe will be playing directly in front of your group if you have a rule dispute. You may call his cell to answer your question or he will stop by to make the decision. If you have a dispute on alternate days you will have to Make a decision between yourselves or find a board member, or other knowledgably person to make the decision. You must make your decision before going to the next hole.

 

If the match is tied after 18 holes the match will continue until a winner in determined sudden death using full handicap. The final match for the President’s Cup Trophy will be played on April 4th. Winner will receive an additional $150 Runner up $50.
